A well-configured farm profile is the foundation of accurate AI advice.
Farm Profile
Your profile contains the physical characteristics of your land:
- Location: Used for hyper-local weather alerts and climate data.
- Elevation: High-altitude farms have different growing requirements than sea-level ones.
- Soil Type: Tells the AI how your land retains water and nutrients.
- Farming Type: (e.g., Organic, Permaculture, Conventional) adjusts the advice you receive.
Organizing with Zones
Zones allow you to divide your farm into distinct areas (e.g., "North Field," "Back Garden," "Greenhouse").
- Why use Zones?: You can track expenses and tasks for specific areas of your land.
- Zone-Specific Data: In the future, OnlyCrops AI will allow you to set different soil types for different zones.
How to Manage Zones
- Go to Manage Zones from the menu.
- Add a name for your zone.
- When adding or editing a crop, you can assign it to one of these zones.
